|
|
Hello,
My company just bought Dataload professional. We use an ERP called CIMS7, running Oracle Application Server 10g with Oracle Forms 9i, all this in an UNIX environment.
I’d like to use the playback mode of Oracle Forms, but I struggle to make it work.
I tried using record command directly (in the url), but it seems I need to modify Oracle Forms configuration to make it work. I can’t find files like $OA_HTML/bin/appsweb.cfg.
Moreover, my url is like http://cims7/forms90/f90servlet?form=logon.fmx. Can I record using that method if my application obviously use servlets instead of CGIs?
Any documentation or help you could provide me would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you, |

Although Forms Playback is a generic Oracle Forms technology, the DataLoad software and documentation is orientated to using Forms Playback in Oracle E-Business. We will try to support users to use forms playback in applications other than E-Business but given that we do not know these applications' architectures we cannot advise how to setup forms playback outside of Oracle E-Business.
