When I import a spreadsheet (.csv file) into Dataloader, very often, Dataloader does not import the entire file. For instance, I import a 5000 line spreadsheet, but Dataloader only imports 4925 lines. It does this consistently with this particular file. The biggest problem is that it doesn’t just skip records at the beginning or end of the file, but skips lines somewhere within the file – making it impossible to determine which records will not be loaded.

This is only one example, it has happened with spreadsheets of just a few hundred lines, and those of several thousand lines. This makes it impossible to trust the upload.

Is this a wide-spread problem? Is there a fix? Any assistance you can provide would be appreciated.

Hi,

This isn't a known problem. Please send a copy of your CSV file to us at support@daraload.net so we can reproduce the problem. If we can reproduce this then we should be able to provide a fix.
