Hi,

Is there an option in DataLoad to set, so that it runs in the background mode?

In other words, I need to start the dataload (macro load) with heavy volume and I should be able to do other activities of my job on the same computer while the dataload is running.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

This is generally not possible with Macro loads because they load in to the active application on you PC and if you make another application active then that will receive the loaded data. An exception to this is if you are loading in to a browser, e.g. Internet Explorer, in which case you can use DataLoad Pro's Browser Control functionality to load your data and then the load can run in the background. If you are using Oracle E-Business Suite's core/professional forms then you can use Forms Playback for the load and again that can run in the background.

Thanks,
