We are very pleased to announce another new version of DataLoad, V5.1. This builds on DataLoad V5 with the aim of further expanding DataLoad's capabilities as the only comprehensive and integrated data loading solution available. There are a large number of changes in this new release but the two we think are most exciting are the conversion to a fully Unicode enabled application and the extension of Browser Control.

Unicode means DataLoad can handle all the world's languages and any mix of those languages without any changes being required to the PC setup. This is a very important change which simplifies using DataLoad with many languages, such as Japanese, Chinese and Arabic. Furthermore, with many companies using a single global instance of Oracle E-Business Suite it is important that users can load data that includes any mix of languages. DataLoad V5.1 delivers this functionality and all of DataLoad's functionality supports Unicode.

Browser Control has also been extended to make it easier to use and to support more of Oracle E-Business Suite's Self Service functionality. As we head towards Oracle Fusion there is more and more functionality being implemented in the Self Service forms and DataLoad is being developed to support all of this functionality. That means data and setup can be quickly and reliably loaded in to these forms when required.
