DataLoad is compatible with Windows 7 but this error has been reported on Vista and Windows 7 for some users. We are investigating this issue but need more details about when this problem is happening so we can provide a fix.
A new build of DataLoad is available that includes additional logging. This won't fix the issue but it should tell us what the problem is. If possible would you please download and run the following file:
http://www.dataload.com/dlupdate.exe
That will update your main DataLoad file but it will take a backup first.
Please run DataLoad and the error should still occur. A file called dataload.log will be created in the directory where DataLoad is installed (typically this is c:\program files\dataload). Please email that file to support@dataload.com.
Thanks,
Jonathan |
