I have been using dataload classic for several months with no issues.
Yesterday I installed dataload pro. Now when I try and load data into an Oracle form, Oracle shuts down. Sometimes this happens when the load first starts and sometimes further into the load.

Hi,

Can you give us some more details please? For example, what sort of load are you using - Macro, Forms Playback or Database - and is any error message displayed in Oracle before it closes? Also, has anything else changed apart from you installing DataLoad Pro, e.g. have you also changed the DataLoad version, etc?

Thanks and regards,

Jonathan Stuart

Database loads aren't available in Classic so if this load is something you were using in Classic then I think this must be a Macro load. Could you email a copy of your load file to us at support@dataload.com please?

Also, what version of DataLoad are you using and did you install a new version of DataLoad when you installed Pro or did you just convert an existing Classic install to Pro?

If you haven't tried this then please slow down your load and see if the problem still occurs. If the problem does still happen then with a slower load you may be able to see the cause. I suggest you slow down the load by increasing the "Cell Processed Delay" in the Delays window.

Thanks,

Jonathan
