I've created a simple load file to create new items in Oracle 11i. Some of the time the TAB columns are recognized and other times they're not.

I have a TAB between the Item and Description fields. Sometimes the cursor advances from the Item field after entering the Item Number and other times it doesn't and it overwrites the Item Number with the Item Description.

I can't find any indication of why it tabs some of the time and doesn't others.

Help!

Thanks,

Peter

This sounds like another case of DataLoad sending data faster than the application can process it. Please refer to http://www.dataload.net/help/macro/delays.htm and let us know if this helps to solve your problem.
