Hi,

The production version of V4.3.8.0 has now been released and is available for download here. This version fixes all known issues in the previous version and adds a number of features for both Macro and Forms Playback loads. We recommend all users download and install this new version to take advantage of these fixes and new features.

If you have any questions about the new version please raise a new topic in the appropriate forum area.

Thanks,

Jonathan Stuart.

Is there any further information on the point listed under new features -

"• Forms Playback WINDOW numbers can now be incremented by different amounts for different forms in the same load. This is required for certain Oracle E-Business Suite Forms."

I had a quick scan of the on-line user guide and couldn't see anything. I would like to find out what is meant by the above statement and how it works.

Thanks
Renay

Renay,

This refers to the internal workings of DataLoad rather than external functionality that is available to you. Put in simple terms, this means DataLoad Forms Playback will work with all E-Business Suite forms. We had found that in some forms (specifically certain HRMS forms) the internal numbering of new forms followed more complex rules than previously thought. We updated DataLoad to follow this more complex behaviour so that Forms Playback loads work properly in such situations. This is all invisible to the user, other than to say loads which may have previously failed when hitting this issue will now work.

Thanks,

Jonathan.
