|
Hi,
While testing an Oracle load, there was a case where a particular record could not be loaded because it was already in the system. It stopped and gave me the pop-up message and wanted me to click OK. So I clicked ESCape first to unfreeze the screen and then clicked OK.
How do I get the load to continue on from the next record, or do I have to make a note of where it stopped and then edit the playback file, and continue/restart from there?
Thanks,
Joe |

Joe,
You cannot continue after an error. You have to edit the playback file, and continue/restart from next record.

Furthermore, this is not possible with Forms Playback. It is a limtation of Oracle's forms playback scripting that we cannot have procedural processing of issues, etc. In an ideal world we would be able to do this but at least the forms playback loads stop on error rather than continuing to load data as is the case with Macro laods.
