DataLoad is not an Oracle product and as such Oracle does not produce, endorse or support DataLoad! However, Oracle Consulting Services uses both DataLoad Classic and Professional and Oracle Support analysts have recommended DataLoad in Notes (see below) and Service Requests.
There are many Notes about DataLoad on Oracle's "My Oracle Support" site (previously known as Metalink) which suggest using DataLoad for importing Excel-like data into Oracle E-Business Suite.
