15th December 2003 - DataLoad V4.3.2.1 Released

We are committed to releasing new functionality and bug fixes as quickly as possible. As part of that process V4.3.2.1 was released today and that includes fixes for all known issues and a number of small changes designed to improve the usability of Dataload.

5th December 2003 - DataLoad V4.3.2.0 Released

DataLoad V4.3.2 highlights our continued development of DataLoad. There are new features and bug fixes that affect all aspects of DataLoad; the user interface, Macro loads, and Forms Playback loads have all been updated. As usual all known bugs have been fixed but significant new features have also been added. Furthermore, while recent development has concentrated on Forms Playback loads this release contains a number of new features for Macro loads. Future releases will continue this trend. 1st October 2003 - DataLoad V4.3.1.0 Released

DataLoad V4.3.1 has been released. This new version contains a mixture of bug fixes and new features. All issues identified in V4.3.0 have been fixed, including an install issue on some Window NT PCs. V4.3.1 can be downloaded here.

8th September 2003 - DataLoad V4.3.0.0 Released

DataLoad V4.3.0 has been released. This version is a major upgrade containing many new features plus fixes to all issues identified since V4.2.5.6. It is recommended that all users upgrade to this new version to be able to take advantage of these changes. V4.3 can be downloaded here.

12th May 2003 - DataLoad V4.2.5.4 Released, V4.3.0.0 Announced

DataLoad V4.2.5.4 has been released and this new version includes fixes for all known issues in V4.2 of DataLoad. It is recommended all users upgrade to this new release.

Work is now well advanced on V4.3.0.0 of DataLoad. This new version includes new functionality in all areas of DataLoad, with particular attention being given to the forms playback functionality. The first beta version of V4.3 will be released shortly.

October 2002 - New Web Address & Contacts Details

DataLoad now has a dedicated Internet domain name to help users remember the web address and contact details. The domain is 'dataload.com', making the new web site address www.dataload.com. All email addresses have also been changed and a list of the new addresses can be found here. To coincide with this the DataLoad web site has also been updated.

4th October 2002 - DataLoad V4.2.3.3 Released

Version 4.2.3.3 fixes a bug in DataLoad where LOV commands were not always correctly handled when used in the header section of forms playback loads. A ProxyEnable error could also occur on some systems when DataLoad is started. This version also includes the new DataLoad Installer. This will make installing and maintaining DataLoad easier. It is recommended that all users upgrade to this latest release and a list of the changes can be found here.

24th September 2002 - DataLoad V4.2.3.2 Released

Version 4.2.3.2 fixes a bug in DataLoad where USER_EXIT commands could cause an error when a file is saved. It is recommended that all users upgrade to this latest release and a list of the changes can be found here.

29th August 2002 - DataLoad V4.2.3.1 Released

Version 4.2.3.1 fixes a number of minor issues in V4.2.3 of DataLoad. It is recommended that all users upgrade to this latest release and a list of the changes can be found here.

15th August 2002 - DataLoad V4.2.3.0 Released

DataLoad V4.2.3 was released today, Thursday 15th August 2002. This release of DataLoad contains a number of significant new features as well as bug fixes. Forms playback loads have been made significantly more flexible and the number of Oracle Applications forms supported increased through a number of features including support for a header section in loads. Copy & Paste loads also benefit from new 'Load Control' functionality. This provides a feedback mechanism from Oracle Applications to DataLoad, ensuring DataLoad stays synchronised with the Oracle forms. Thus, Copy & Paste loads are now more reliable, can be run unattended and stop if an error occurs in the Oracle form. Apart from these performance and reliability improvements to loads there have been other changes, such as the addition of Find and Replace functionality in the DataLoad grid. DataLoad can also now automatically start loading data when a DataLoad file is opened, which combined with the reliability and error handling capabilities of Load Control means Copy & Paste loads can be safely scheduled to run and left unattended.

20th January 2002 - Important Changes to DataLoad Support

The volume of support emails means that we can no longer provide free support for DataLoad. However, we will continue to provide free email support to users who are having difficulty downloading, installing or starting to use DataLoad. For all other issues and questions product and user support can now be purchased. By providing a commercial support service we can ensure support queries are answered quickly and effectively, enabling users to get the best out of DataLoad. Companies and users who require product support can purchase a support package on the sales page.

5th December 2001 - DataLoad Professional Release Date Announced

DataLoad Professional will be available to buy from the 10th December 2001. DataLoad Professional provides support for unlimited size forms playback loads, a method of loading data which is significantly faster than loading through Copy & Paste and is only available in a restricted version in DataLoad Classic. DataLoad Professional also includes product and end user support for DataLoad and can be purchased through this web site on our sales page. 5th November 2001 - DataLoad V4.2 Classic Released

DataLoad V4.2 Classic was released on the 5th November 2001. This release contains a large number of new features which have been regularly requested by DataLoad users plus some important bug fixes. For full details of the new functionality in V4.2 please see the new features web page. DataLoad development has concentrated on two areas. First, enhancing the spreadsheet functionality to make using DataLoad and building and running loads easier. Features such as direct import from Excel, automatic tabbing and cell comments are examples of this. The second area of development has been the introduction of forms playback file editing. Loading data using Oracle Forms playback is significantly faster and more reliable than using copy and paste and V4.2 provides full editing of these files. The DataLoad name has also been slightly changed to reflect the upcoming launch of a commercial version of DataLoad. The free version of DataLoad is now called DataLoad Classic while the commercial version will be called DataLoad Professional. The commercial version of DataLoad will allow forms playback files to be of an unlimited size, whereas this feature is only provided for demonstration in DataLoad Classic and is restricted to 5 record loads. DataLoad Professional will also include full end user and product support.
